The capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan is Bishkek, which serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. Kyrgyzstan has a developing economy, with key sectors including agriculture, mining, and hydropower. The population of Kyrgyzstan is approximately 6.5 million. The country is renowned for its breathtaking mountainous landscapes, which make up around 90% of its territory, as well as its rich nomadic traditions and history. Kyrgyzstan is home to several universities, including Kyrgyz National University. Other major cities besides Bishkek include Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Karakol, which are also important cultural and economic centers.
